BIANCA OJUKWU TURN NIGERIA'S AMBASSADOR TO SPAIN

On June 12, 2012, President Goodluck Jonathan announced the appointment 93 ambassadors including Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu, a former beauty queen and wife of late politician Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu.
While many were speculating that Mr. President was going to make Ojukwu’s widow the country’s ambassador to Ghana, On Tuesday, June 12, 2012, Mrs. Bianca Ojukwu was appointed and announced Nigeria’s ambassador to Spain.
The appointment which came shortly after Bianca lost her husband, the late Ezendigbo Gburugburu, Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu who lost his battle to stroke in November, 2011.
Bianca as gathered, will join 85 other ambassadors, 24 of which will act as Deputy Heads of Mission.
The other seven ambassadors fall under the In-Situ category and will operate their offices in Nigeria.
Other female ambassadors include former Minister of Aviation, Fidelia Njeze, Hadiza Mustapha, Victoria Onipede, Katherine Okon, Chigozie Obi-Nnadozie, Matilda Kwashi, Katyen Jackden, Nonye Okpara, Sifawu Momoh and Martine Gereng-Sen.
