The rain poured down heavily, my hands trembling on the wheel as I drove back home. It was a really dark night, the only lights in sight were my headlights and the constant flashes of Lightning.
I cautiously checked to see the time on the dashboard clock.
11:15pm.
I sighed heavily, tired from the stress of the entire day and most probably the one I was to face on getting home. My fiancé Raymond was staying the night again and I was so certain it was going to be a bad night for us both.
You see Raymond and I have been on a roller coaster ride of a relationship for almost 3years now, and as the days continued to roll by slowly, I was more sure of how distant our relationship was beginning to feel.
I let thoughts of him flood my mind for what seemed like the better part of the rest of my drive home.
11:30pm.
I parked the car in the garage and ran up the porch in the rain, hating the feel of it on my new weaves. I cursed under my breath.
Surprisingly Raymond wasn’t in the living room waiting as I expected, which was what he usually did on nights like this. Sometimes, with dinner already prepared.
He must have slept off, I thought to myself but that thought soon changed as I heard shuffling from the room upstairs.
I cursed. Now I wished to God he had certainly been sleeping.
I walked up the one flight of stairs to the room, dreading any possible confrontation.
As I got to the door, I could have sworn I heard a female voice. And then as if to confirm my suspicion, the female voice shrieked loudly. Without thinking I slammed into to door with my shoulder bursting it open.
Sheila.
It was Sheila.
I had met her just twice. The first time at Raymond’s office for one of their many Dinners. The next time she just happened to have appeared out of nowhere while we where shopping at the mall.
Now as I stood there in the doorway of my bedroom, my fiance in my bed with this Sheila, if that’s really here name, eating my cookies and whipped cream and drinking my Champagne from my glasses… I lost it immediately.
“What in the hell!” I scrowled. And then like reflex I heard the resounding blare of my own voice saying “What the fuck do you think you are doing Ray?”
He got off the bed and said “Oh darling you are home!” Without a care in the world, he strolled towards me and reached to hug me. I pushed him back, my eyes fixed on him in a fiery rage.
“Oh no no Babe, its not what you think..” He said with a little chuckle.
“You see Sheila here is…”
“Oh Shut up Ray! How dare you?!” I yelled at him, cutting him off. And then as if just realizing she was still there, I turned to face her, “Please get off my bed Miss. Get the fuck off my bed right now.!”
“Retta you are acting rather irrationally don’t you think? You are ruining a good surprise.” Ray began to say.
I couldn’t believe my ears. I wanted to hit him across the face so hard and stone the engagement ring I had on my finger down his throat. I breathed heavily, letting the anger sink in a little.
“Babe, Sheila is here to help us.”
I could barely believe my ears, but I let him continue. I mean, I didn’t walk in on them fucking or boning it out or anything..so I could at least listen right?
“You know we’ve been having this thing Retta, You and I, its like we need a spin. You know? Retta are you listening to me?”
I took my eyes off my rumpled sheets and faced him again. “Yes I am Ray, just get to the point..”
“Babe, I thought it would be a good idea to spice things up a bit. You know, get our jiggy back. We’ve been so off for a while and all these fighting…”
“What the fuck are you saying Raymond?”
From the corner of my eyes I noticed Sheila trying to duck out of the room. “And where do you think you are going?” I snapped at her.
“If you don’t mind, this is between the both of you,” she said, picking her purse off the floor as she walked out.
“Retta you need to calm down”, Raymond said to me, resting his palms on my lean shoulders. I swept them off with my hands as quickly as I felt them.
“Don’t touch me!“
“Ok that’s it! Ve had enough of you irritable manners. Here I was trying to help us and you are pissing off an attitude.”
“Would you explain to me how the fuck having a cozy snack time in my bed with that bitch is any help to us Raymond? Ahnnn?”
“We were waiting for you. I read somewhere that what we are dealing with now was normal with couples and we only needed to try new things. And this was the only new thing mentioned that we hadn’t tried all this time.” He said in a rush
I blinked in absolute surprise. I wanted to lash out at him but I restrained myself, breathing heavily, my hands holding my head as I immediately began to feel like it was going to fall off my neck.
“Baby, Sheila came by cause I begged her to. So we could have a Threesome. Can you imagine how nice that girl is! She came to help us with our relationship and you just treated her like trash.”
I have no idea what got into me, but as soon as I heard those words, every piece of my crashed and molded into cold steel. In a flash without even thinking, I slapped him hard across the face.
“You must be insane! How dare you Ray! How dare you?!”
He just stood there, in a daze.
“Please get the fuck out of my house,” I began to say as I wrestled the ring off my finger. I threw it back at him, it flew it too fast for him to catch. I heard it hit the tiled floor hard.
“I’m done with this shit! Threesome? And you didn’t think we could have at least talked about it? Or decided on someone together? What do you think I am really? All these years together and you still have the guts to treat me like a fucking bitch!”
He didn’t say a word back, just stood there looking at me with that stupid look in his face. That made me even more angry.
Or is there something I am missing? Shouldn’t we have talked about this before he decided to bring in some damn bitch to my house and suggest a threesome? Shouldn’t we as a couple, have had a conversation about this and probably pick someone together? Is it Just me or was this his way of letting me know he wanted to Fuck the damn Sheila so bad or was he even fucking her already?!

FOOTBALL LEGEND, RASHIDI YEKINI BURIED AMIDST TEARS

Football stars, fans, family and top government officials mourned Rasheed Yekini in a funeral at his home town Ira, Oyun Local Government Area of Kwara State this evening. His death at age 48 shocked his fans and colleagues. A cause of death has yet to be formally announced.

Osun state government has donated N1million to the family of the deceased.

Yekini is survived by 3 wives and 3 children.

2FACE ADDRESSES NOW MUSIC, HYPERTEK INTERFERENCE

There is been speculations in some quarters over a said clash between 2Face’s Hypertek records and his management deal with Now Music. According to those peddling the rumour, Hypertek records signing of new acts, will interfere with the crooner’s deal with Efe Omorogbe’s Now Music, which is currently managing him. But within the week, 2Face, who just got married to his lover and baby mamma, Annie Macaulay cleared the air, stating that Hypertek Records are in charge of his music production, while Now music is solely responsible for his personal management, which means two different things according to him. ‘People get it twisted a lot and e no be hard thing to understand’ he stated.

DJINEE BUSY WITH NEW ALBUM PLANS

Ego crooner, Djinee is gradually gathering himself again. Shortly after the release of his hit single, Ego, which was an anthem few years ago, he went off the scene and kept many wondering his wear about. Those in the know have informed this site that the crooner is at the moment very busy in the studio cooking something new, which will heat up any time soon. In an exclusive chat with this Gistclan, the Edo born, laid it bare. ‘I am working on an album, right now I have a direction for the album unlike before. I think I have kinda come into my space, my zen as a musician and that’s what I’mdoing, so the album should be out towards the end of the year, that’s what I am looking at.’

Djinee also told us about expectant features in the album, ‘I have worked with M.I, Naeto C, Kefee of the Branama fame and Munachi,’ whom he just finished voicing with before we engaged him in the chat.

From all indications, Djinee is cooking something very new this time and according to him, ‘you guys will hear from me soon’

ADOL PLANS INTERNATIONAL COLLABORATION

BIG BROTHER CELEBRATES MADNESS …As Goldie Becomes Celebrity Housemate

But, just like everyone knows Big brother often celebratse one particular feature in each edition of the BBA show, this year, it’s obvious they are celebrating madness and weirdness, unlike in the last edition, when nudity was celebrated. AFGHANISTAN NURSE DIES TALKING TO WIFE ON SKYPE

The wife of an Army officer serving in Afghanistan witnessed her husband's death as the two video chatted via Skype, according to a report by the family.

The circumstances of Capt. Bruce Kevin Clark's death were not immediately available. The Pentagon said it was under investigation, and his brother-in-law said he didn't have details.

"We are entrusting the military with investigating and with finding out what happened to Capt. Clark," Bradley Taber-Thomas told The Associated Press yesterday, May 4, 2012.

Clark, a 43-year-old Army chief nurse, grew up in Michigan and lived previously in Spencerport, N.Y., a suburb of Rochester and his wife's hometown. He joined the Army in 2006 and was stationed in Hawaii before he was assigned to the William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso. He deployed to Afghanistan in March, 2012.

A statement from the family released by Taber-Thomas said Clark died Monday while talking to his wife during one of their regular Skype sessions.

"At the time of the incident, the family was hoping for a rescue and miracle, but later learned that it was not to be," the statement said. "Although the circumstances were unimaginable, Bruce's wife and extended family will be forever thankful that he and his wife were together in his last moments."

Clark's body was returned Thursday to Dover Air Force Base.

A funeral is planned in Spencerport, but details were not immediately available. Clark and his wife, Susan Orellana-Clark, moved there in 2000. While living there, he worked for about four years at Highland Hospital in Rochester, N.Y., first as an operating room assistant then operating room technician.

"He was a friendly guy, always joking, always picking on me because of my (British) accent," said Ellie Villanueva, a nurse who worked with Clark at the hospital and kept in touch with him after he left. They spoke a few days before his death, and he talked about coming for a visit. "After work, we would all go out. It was like a family. He was my son."

Clark was an EMT before he worked at the hospital. He went on to earn his nursing degree and planned to become a certified registered nurse anesthetist, Villanueva said. "He was always willing and always wanting to better himself," she said. Military records show Clark finished his nursing degree before joining the military in 2006. He received a number of awards and decorations for his service.

"When you were in Bruce's presence it was apparent he served a higher purpose," the family's statement said. "He was deeply honored to serve his country, and he paid the ultimate sacrifice to serve people, his children, family, community, and church."

A memorial service also was planned in Addison, Mich., where Clark graduated from high school.

Villanueva said the delay in releasing the cause of Clark's death was difficult on those who knew him.

"Why is it taking so long? It's odd," she said. "It's a real shame."

Clark is survived by his wife and two daughters, age 3 and 9, he said.

FLOOD OF LIES DRESSED AS TRIBUTES TO LATE RASHIDI YEKINI

It's no longer news that Nigeria's one-time goal machine, Rashidi Yekini died of an alleged prolong mental disorder yesterday May 24, 2012, as given by a close family source.

However Gistclan gathered that very close colleagues who are very busy shedding crocodile tears shortly after his death, actually abandoned him at the time he needed them most.

'Expect a flood of lies, dressed up as tributes to Rashidi Yekini. Stuff like, "he died when this country needs him most" and "he has left a  vacuum too big to be filled" will come from thos who didn't give a shit about him". said a critiq.

Confirming Yekini's death, former colleague, Ike Shorunmu, said he was informed by the mother of one of Yekini's children that the energetic striker was dead.''It's so sad but the truth of the matter is that our dear Rashidi Yekini is dead,''Shorunmu lamented. ''He died in a private hospital in Ibadan,'' he said.''The woman who had a daughter for Yekini told me this sad news and told me that he would be buried today in Ira, Kwara State,'' said Shorunmu.

Before his resignation from football, he was Nigeria’s national record goal scorer, netting 37 goals in 58 appearances. He represented Nigeria at the 1984, 1988, 1990, 1992, 1994 Africa Nations Cup finals.He also represented Nigeria at the 1988 Olympics in Seoul, South Korea.Yekini played for Nigeria at the USA'94 and France '98 World Cups finals. In 1993, he was crowned African Footballer Of The Year; the first time a Nigerian would be so honoured.

His death goes a long way to show how the Nigerian community and it's government tend to abandon their disadvantaged heroes to die in penury, recalling the case of Gringory and many others to heart.
